Yea ! back from camp ! I'm supposed to be on standby to cover for flight today till 2015 ... but the plane decided to land 2 hrs late so only got to leave camp at 2215 ... reached home ard 2245 ( took taxi ! ), slacked for awhile and here i am ... typing mundane stuff thru the net ...
Anyway one of our drivers had a road traffic accident (RTA) on sunday. He went to CGH and got discharged as an under-dressed mummy with bandages all over ... nothing life threatening ... juz abrasions over the body... abeit rather serious abrasions ... The biggest one was an oval shaped abrasion on his leg which had the diameter of the length of A to K on the keyboard ... He came to the medical centre on tues to change his bandages ... was a really long and painstaking process ... long for us ( bout 2 to 3 hrs) and pain for him since the bandages done earlier were stucked onto his wounds and had to be taken out before we could apply our own bandages. Ouchh ... Not the the nurses at CGH did a bad job but i tink the melonin they placed over the wound shifted over time, thus enabling the crepe bandage to stick onto the wounds ... We wet the wound ( stucked bandage included) with centrimide to ease the pain of removing the bandages but still ... Anyway we were more generous with the size of melonins over the wound to make space for the shifting of the melonin... He's coming back tml for another session of fun-filled bandage-changing session ... Good luck !
