For once in a long long time, I took my time getting home after wushu. Mostly... I still left straight after lessons but managed a nice slow walk back home with Yz. It's kinda refreshing I must say, it's been really really long since I've hung ard with the wushu ple after lessons. Today was also one of the rarer occasions when I actually found time (ie. not sleeping at home.. lol..) to arrive early to train a little. And I must say I've lots to catch up with. The OP ple are improving lots, and I'm really happy for them :) Wish that I could train with them, but conflicting schedules and distance can become a big hindrance.
For a long time now, I missed staying up late on Sundays, training till late, having supper, talking nonsense with the guys and making fun of Jh's cold jokes... lol.. Having to rush back to school every Sunday is really taking its toll. I seem to have grown somewhat distant from the rest, though I'm there during lessons to teach.
In the past, it used to be a little more meaningful. Giving lessons seems to have lost its meaning when you cant hang out or at least spend more time on polishing your skills. Sure, you'll feel proud when your kids actually improve... But I'm getting tired...
Playing with the thoughts of relinquishing my responsibilities. Since I'm gaining nothing out of it.
