Just came back from wushu training ... dead tired ... the performance is in 2 weeks time n i've not even scratched the surface of my routine ... pressure man ... gotta do some extra training on my own ... my left ankle has been hurting for the past 2 days n i don't even know how it got hurt ... didn't sprain it or anything ... man ... how to perform like that ?!
its been quite a challenge preparing for the performance ... given only a month notice ( 4 sundays to train ..) plus gotta prepare for my FTT n base operations ... Very little time to train ... im performing zui quan or drunken fist .. unlike many other routines, the style of drunken fist is very very different ... bringing out the 'drunkardness' of the routine is no easy task at all ... i've even got trouble executing the basic steps ... add the jumping ard n all the other stunts ( which i actually find easier than the basic drunken steps ... ) ... and i've got a really big problem in my hands...
JIA YOU !!! argh ... gotta pull up my socks ...i know i can't perform up to a high standard but will give it my best shot ... after all, i've been out of action for a really long time ... the last time i trained seriously was ard dec last year ... to prepare for the trip to Tianjing... but thats another story ...
