i was at the back of the warehouse checking some stuff with jason n justin ... just minding our own business when we decided to take a little stroll to the front of the warehouse ( our most faved hobby there ...) ...
then sean n edwin started calling me ... cant hear them well so i ignored them ... hehe ... half way to the front we saw jh sitting on a chair wif some ple surrounding him .. apparently he got hurt using the stacker ( sth like forklift ..) just awhile ago ...well .. word got ard tt i was a medic in saf i guess .. his left hand held his right which was covered with a blood stained gauze .. i took a look at his hand ... flesh from his last 2 fingers were grazed off to the extent that i could see the white flesh ... his mid finger was also hurt quite badly though not as much a sthe other 2 ... at tt moment i tried to recall wat i learnt during army daze ... shout for medic ! no tts wrong ... run ard in circles with arms flinging about ... um out ... hide ! ... nah ... well no ideas ... heh .. sorta .. i rem we supposed to tape the finger if we suspect facture but didnt see any first aid box nearby so i dropped the idea ... so i just snatched his bag n followed him down to the reception area where we waited for a cab ... along the way i spotted a box n took it ... scrummaged inside .. but no tape ... but got triangle bandage so i just did a arm sling ... after all facture should minimise movement rite? me, jh n my boss took a taxi trip to cgh ..
there i discovered that only one vistor allowed per patient ... didnt even know got such rule after sending so many ple to cgh ... so my boss went into the a&e with jh ... thus started my loooong wait ... ard 1345 to 1530 ! sigh ... met up with bl ard 1515 since her shift end at 1500 ... fortunately for jh there wasnt any facture ... phew ... he was really afraid since he couldnt move his fingers ... really glad for him ... as for boss ... more paperwork and answering to awaits him in the office ... sigh .. n me ? life as usual .. gg union later !
didnt tink i would exprience this sort of thing again after army ... well not so soon at least ... but thankfully it wasnt a serious incident ... but i guess i accidents really do happen anytime, anywhere ... and wat seems like any normal day would turn upside down within a blink of an eye ... so remember kids ... stop playing with forklifts unless you're properly trained !
2 diff ple said i got kind-looking face today ... sean from wrk n prislyn from union ... really meh ?! maybe i shld run for presidency or sth .. vote for me ! cos i gotta kind-looking face !
