1st stop ! choo choo trek with viccotious !! 26 aug .. yeah .. sometime ago alrdy .. as usual nt everyone made it for the trek (usually its me ).. junjie, tengyong, huifen, chuiling, audrey ling turn up for the event .. we trekked along this abandoned railway track in which foliage had taken over partially .. didn't even noe this track existed in the first place .. well, guess if u look hard enough weird places will start to pop up ... even on our very own little island .. highlights of the trip : the dense foliage, the 1st pitstop ( the real train track), the tunnel of mud, lover's bridge, spider web barricade, the lonely signal lamp and last but not least, meeting up with a great bunch of adventure loving ple whom I haven met since before uni started !! woohooo !!! cya guys soon !
Straight after lunch with the viccotious ple I headed home, rested a bit then left again for the TPJC alumni dinner ... a general summary of the event ? It ain’t worth the money !!! haha ... really ...for the price we paid I would have expected a better venue or at least better food n service .. oh well .. wats done been done .. the the bright side, I gotta meet up wif my wushu mates n ALL my teachers who have taught me in JC !!! wahhaha ... glad tt at least more than half of them still rem me ! coincidentally, wendy was there with her band clique so we went about finding our teachers .. mr tan n mr lim still rem me ! but mainly as the wushu guy .. haha .. mr toh also ... don't tink mr chow n mr lee recognized us though ... tink the principal also rem me ! went to look for her wif xinyi then she tot we are a couple (*.* |||) ... oh well .. although the price was steep, I don tink I’ll get another chance to see all my JC teachers again ... so it kinda cancels off ... all the best to my teachers !! haha .. the students now are quite a handful from wat I heard from them ... n to the wushu ple, cya ard !
On Sunday didn't manage to study .. slacked the whole day but printed notes as well … wat a waste of time ... returned to hall on sun night ...throughout the whole week I would be out somehow or rather everyday .. so I had to squeeze every available time I had n use it for tutorials .. ink gave the impression to those ard me tt im a mugger .. haha .. despite tt, im still lagging behind .. sigh .. gotta buck up...
On mon I met laiyee at jurong east mrt ( cant rem the mall name nearby ) then had dinner at the mall … haven really had a chat wif her since I was waiting for army ? long time alrdy ! haha ... she hasn't changed much ... though nt as bubbly as b4 ? guess the stress from uni is affecting her ... its affecting all of us ... yo laiyee ! GAMBATE ya ?! haha ... tink next time we meet must bring protective gear along .. don wanna risk another mishap .. haha ..
Went union on tues ... only sokhui turned up ... haven danced for over a mth I tink so been rather rusty ... but its good practice for the JJ party on fri ! wahaha ... sok hui also got better since we last met ... now she’s gg to learn I4 !!! gasp !! pro alrdy !! plus still learning yoga n golf n watnot ... she's the most happening working person I've come across so far !! omg !! !
Wed saw the 1st wushu training session in ntu with coach victor chong .. he teaches traditional nan quan , which is worlds apart from the competitive chang quan I've been learning .. had to learn to adjust … there's a lot of focus on stances which im rather weak at ... my legs were shaking by the end of the lesson ... haha .. need more practice ... its been fun !
Thurs, the 1st salsa lesson at ntu begins .. isigned up wif the beginners cos got frens there .. also wanna learn from the basics again .. haha ... its been fun as well !! haha ... never tire from slasa-ing .. I noticed the instructor ( forgot her name .. oopsy .. ) focused more on styling than JJ, which I feel tends more towards social dancing and having fun ... looking forward to the next lesson !
Fri ... 010906 ! JJ salsa party !!! woohhooo !!! prislyn was nice enough to offer to pick me n andy up ffrom ntu .. (andy juz took up salsa ! from JJ also !! wahhaa ... ) she arrived ard 1845 but my biomed module dragged all the way till 1900 !!! wargh ! had to rush back to hall, take a quick bath, n pack my stuff( gg home after tt ) .. so pai seh .. when I was done , we rushed to far east square n met up wif the rest of her gang ( I dunno everyone ...) .. most of the clique from my beginners class turned up !!! mag, sokhui. Zhiwei, saywee, angela , Helena , sheena , Adeline, evelyn , seth ! didn’t expect the turn out to be so good ! also met gary( the ntu instructor) n young there ... stayed there till 1 am plus then had supper with sokhui at maxell food court ... reached home near 3 am then slept like a log till the next day ..
Sat : spent most of my time sleeping .. did abit of econs but tts about it ..
Sun : made a trip to visit my grandparents then went straight for wushu .. the usual routine .. haha .. now trying to learn nan quan from danming ... hehe .. stocked up on my snacks also !
Took the next mon n tues to catch up on my school wrk .. but am still lagging !!! waargh !!
Its wed now .. juz came back from ntu wushu training n juz fet like typing sth n take a braeak from wrk ... haha .. oh well .. its time to take a bath n cont mugging ! oh~ yeah ...
