The Soul Funky VP and Hall 16 Dance Capt are residents just two doors down from mine lol... We're all pretty dance crazy people! Learning lots about popping and locking from them :P
That said, I've 2 performances next month. Lindy Hop for NTUC (piece of cake!) and Salsa for some NTU event (I've not started on cheoro... Guagh!)... Soul funky's looking for performance team people and Hall 16's looking for dance competitors.. Wonder if I should join??? There's no better way to learn than to learn for a performance or competition, and I'm pretty tempted..
Wushu's still been taking up my sunday night slot. But with more of us starting to increase our other commitments, I'm starting to feel the pressure.. There's always someone to take over me for sure if I'm not around, but it'll probably leave them with only one or two instructors to take the whole class... We need at least three each week..
Also, academic workload has just upped the ante again with at least two presentations coming up right after the holidays, in 2 weeks time. Funnily enough, the modules this sem are much more interesting than before. Perhaps because it's a deviation from the usual memorization work we're so used to, although the memorization part of learning will come soon enough. Cell culture for FYP got contaminated AGAIN... sigh... I know at least 2 other friends who have shared a similar fate though lol... Nice to know my buddy and I aren't alone hehe.
Happy to say, I'm enjoying the FCM and DHW bible discussions! lol... But I should really be more consistent in reading the bible on my own. The Lord is really wonderful to me still... It truly is a miracle I am able to cope thus far. The amount of commitments I'm giving myself is much more than many people I know.
Meanwhile, I need to set aside some time to research on possible scholarships for graduate studies. Procrastinating somewhat because of the sheer amount of things I need to find out. No good.
That said, back to creating presentation slides for me!
