Every now and then I'll pop back into wushu training, only to realise yet again how much I've fallen from my past standards. Sometimes I'll ramble about it on my blog, so for those wierd ple who miss my ramblings... Here it is yet again!!
I miss the boundless energy I once possessed, the agility for grace in air, the strength in each stance, the speed in each movement, the stamina to maintain my art. I guess age plays a role somewhat, but I believe its the lack of training that affects the most. You reap what you sow..
I entered into a sudden spurt of training for the past two days. They say exercise gives you happy hormones, and I couldn't agree more. My muscles are aching terribly, and I'm so tired I almost fell while walking down a flight of stairs. But between the tense muscles and limber limbs, I'm actually happy (Although super unsatisfied with my lackluster performance)!! Great training company helps too of course!
